SPECK, SPECK, SPECK!!!!! Live at Loco's in Gainesville, GA. Speck has been on another hiatus. buDDy
pOOr's involvement with the government bailout of the savings and loan industry has pulled him in other
directions. However, buDDy managed to set aside one Friday night for Ace and P.Beaux and the thousands
that love SPECK. SPECK will be playing a show at Loco's in Gainesville on Friday, Feb 6th, 2009. "Loco" as
you know, means "Crazy". AND they have Pabst. "Crazy" and Pabst go together pretty good.
In other news, the band has been working at times on their next cd entitled "Si Se Puedes". The tentative song
roster looks like this: V V K, Mi Lo Love, Empties At The Light, Lisa Lisa, and Meeks and Poff. Other songs are
still being worked out, but with titles like this they should be good: Kloden (Super Domestique), You Wanted
The Best, Sharp Edge, Best in 06, etc....

It's been a while, but SPECK is back. The P.Beaux, buDDy, and Ace have played a couple of shows during the
past year. BUT, none as big as the show that has just been scheduled at the world famous Monkey Barrel in
Gainesville, GA. This IS one of the best places to play in the state of Georgia, and SPECK knows it. There will
be no wasted effort at this show. (is there ever?) The show will take place on Friday, October 3rd. Top secret
new material will be unveiled. Get ready........Oh yeah, SPECK has a new Pabst light.

Speck has just announced that they will be playing a show at The Masquerade in Atlanta on Thursday, Nov 29th
This will more than likely be the last show before Ace VanFaken goes on hiatus. Drink up.

Speck has just agreed to play at North Georgia State University on Thursday, October 18th. The show will
benefit Habitat for Humanity. This will mark the second year that the band has participated in the event. Also,
the band will be playing a private party somewhere in the Atlanta area October 28th. That's all we can reveal
about that.

With Speck, sometimes no news is good news. In this case, the news is good. The band has been re-charging
after intense recording sessions and the finalization of "You Wanted The Best, You Got The Best, Just Not
Tonight..." the third cd from Speck. All that is left to be done is mastering and artwork. The band did make a
rare live appearance at "The Monkey Barrel" in March appearing live with special guest "Bartow" The boys
have also started writing new material for their fourth cd which will be entitled "Si Se Puedes". Another live
date has been set at "The Monkey Barrel" for Friday, June 29th, 2007. Once again, the powerhouse band,
"Bartow" will open things up.

Speck has signed on to play the Habitat for Humanity benefit show at North Georgia State University on
Thursday September 21st. It's a good cause.
